Case study
From the farm to the checkout.
We built an e-commerce platform for sustainability-focused brands. Staple runs on it as our showcase: each product carries a passport listing the farm, mills and workshops it passed through, with the document behind each step.
- What we built
- An e-commerce platform with product passports
- Status
- Live
- Live at
- wearstaples.com, our showcase deployment

What we built
- A storefront for sustainability-focused brands
- A passport on every product, from the farm to the workshop
- A public API that publishes every passport
- Integration with the brand’s ERP and logistics
- Payments and selling across markets
Collaboration. Proof. Trust.
Collaboration. The platform connects to the systems a brand already runs, its ERP and its logistics. Each passport names the partners behind a product: the farm, the mills and the workshops.
Proof. Each step on a passport shows the document it rests on and its status: verified, declared by the supplier, or not yet recorded. Gaps stay visible. The same passport is published through a public API, so other systems read the record the shopper sees.
Trust. Before buying, a shopper can see what a product is made of, where it came from and what each step rests on. No one has to take the label on faith.

Where it stands
Staple is live at wearstaples.com. Every product there carries its passport, and anyone can read the passports through the public API.
