Outruns

Collaboration. Proof. Trust.

About

We help organizations and their partners collaborate, prove what they claim and trust each other.

Outruns is an AI-native software development studio, headquartered in Barcelona and led by AI and engineering leaders. Our team is distributed globally. We build and operate the systems organizations and their partners work in together, whether they are exchanging orders, publishing product records or shipping code.

We formed Outruns around one idea: AI does the work, and people keep the authority. In the systems we build, agents do the legwork and people make the decisions, so the work leaves proof each partner can check. That proof is what lets them trust each other.

How we work

  • One team, from the idea to production. We work end to end, from the first idea to monitoring in production. The people who design a system build it and operate it.
  • Built for your case.We build for your case rather than fit you to a product.
  • In your cloud account. We build, deploy and operate in your own cloud account, not ours.
  • Open technology and open standards. We use open technology that can always be hosted internally, and we resell no licenses. Everything we deliver can be hosted, operated and extended without us.

The client’s freedom to take the work forward is part of a successful delivery.

Our values

  • A team, not a body shop.Working together is the best part of the job, and every one of us brings a craft the others rely on. Where others staff projects with resources, we bring people.
  • Think for ourselves.AI gives us speed; our judgment stays our own. We question easy answers, our own included, and keep learning.
  • Build in the open.We build on open source and open standards, so anyone can check the work and build on it.
  • Earn trust.Trust is given, never claimed. We earn it by telling people what we know, what we don’t, and what went wrong.
  • Work that holds up.We care about the details no one sees until something breaks. We want our work as sound in a decade as it is on launch day.
